Acceptable Use Policy

This makeshift AUP applies to all cryxtal.org services, in addition to other services that are hosted by CrystalCommunication infrastructure. It will be replaced with a more detailed Acceptable Use Policy and a full Terms of Service at some point in the near future.

CrystalCommunication reserves the right to suspend your cryxtal.org account, discontinue internet services, or delete user data from our systems for any reason at any time. Naturally, we will only actually take such drastic measures if someone is using our services to ends that we consider to be abusive, so stay out of trouble and you'll be fine.

A more detailed AUP will be published soon, but here are the basics: Do not make any attempts to negatively impact the servers or network infrastructure. Do not use the service to spam, target, or harass other internet services or users. Do not use the service to disseminate hate speech, disinformation, fascist propaganda, or dehumanizing statements. Do not upload content that is illegal in the USA, Canada, or any country from which your data is accessed. Do not use the service to publicly share DMCA protected materials that you do not have the right to distribute. Do not use the service to market or promote cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, NFTs, Web 3.0, or any other financially irresponsible "greater fool" scams.

For the most part, it's the same as other services, except I'll kick your ass if you're a Nazi instead of letting you harass my users. Please note that using CrystalCommunication services to link to or market external services or accounts that are in violation of this AUP will be considered a violation of this AUP.
